About us

CygnusAir is an air operator with a large experience within the aviation sector, being one of the first airlines in Spain. The main characteristic which makes the company develop its business is the possession of its AOC, Air Operator Certificate, issued by AESA (Civil Aviation Authority). In addition to this operational license focused on the operation in Europe, it has other important licenses, such as the FAR part 129, which allows it to operate to and from the United States of America.

Our core business is the operation of two cargo aircraft, B757-200PCF, through leasing contracts such as the Wet Lease or through charter flights that are subject to the demand for transport of goods. All these operations are performed under maximum safety conditions by trained and professional staff.

In addition, CygnusAir holds the EASA 145 maintenance organization approval, which allows us to perform line maintenance.

Initially, the Company was incorporated within the Gestair Group in 1994 as Regional Líneas Aéreas. CygnusAir was the first Spanish company dedicated to regional aviation. Currently, we are a company dedicated to operate cargo charter and regular flights for important companies within the air transport world such as IAG Cargo or TNT.
